Crockpot Potato Soup

It's Fall It's Fall!
And I'm oh so excited!!
You can just feel the crispness in the air in the mornings,
and you can see the orange leaves on the ground.
And the best thing about fall: Soup.
But more importantly: Potato Soup.
THE SOUP OF ALL SOUPS!

So I found this recipe online for a crock pot potato soup and it sounded simple enough, so I thought I'd try it out! And it was actually pretty darn tasty!
Was it Austen approved - yes, yes it was.

Just perfect for a chilly day!

& we ate the soup with some Pillsbury rolls!
(which were gone in the blink of an eye)

I know - the pictures that I take are just top notch.

So jump on the Fall bandwagon and make yourself some potato soup!!

Fried Rice For Days

When I was growing up one of my favorite foods was fried rice. Every time my family would go to a Chinese restaurant all I would order was fried rice. So naturally sometimes I'll just crave it so much that I'll make a huge helping for dinner.
This recipe is probably the easiest fried rice recipe there is, and what I've come to realize is you can tweak it to perfectly meet your taste buds!

I personally like chicken fried rice so I'll just add some precooked chicken during the process, and in the recipe it calls for 1/2 cup of vegetables - you can honestly use whatever vegetables you want. I like to use peas, carrots, and corn. and I love love love it with pineapple so I just throw that in at the end

And yes..I made it a kitchen rule that fried rice must be eaten with chopsticks
:)

Like I said..this recipe makes enough for an army.
But I ain't even mad..Aust and I went back for 2nd and 3rds ;)
